Putting basketball and football players in college not only would help the game and the players, but it makes sense. In college playing sports is their job and it is ludicrous that they are receiving nothing back after all they have done for the program and college sports as a whole. Many critics will call it unfair and claim the athletes are incapable of handling that amount of money, but what makes them so sure that just a year later they will have everything all together. As a fan of the University of Illinois I do not experience many one and done players that schools like Duke, Kentucky, or UCLA do. Myers Leonard was the last one that came to the program and he was nothing special. Just a solid college bigman and now a bench center in the NBA.
