College Application Research Paper

Every since I started high school, I knew I wanted to work hard and do the best that I could so I could go to a good college. The summer before sophomore year, My friend Maddie was telling me about a charter school she was joining called Success Academy. She said it was less than 20 miles away from where we live and included college courses with kids from high schools all around the area to achieve an associate's degree upon high school graduation. Being the highly neurotic teen I was, I decided not to apply with her and attend regular high school with my best friend Gabby. Eventually, seeing how much fun Maddie seemed to be having at Success Academy and how much she enjoyed it, I decided to attempt recieving admission. After winter break, I was admitted to begin the second semester of my sophomore year. Every semester since I began high school, I would always say I never thought that school could be so hard, but I had no idea what I was in for when I began Success Academy. The hardest part for me was the science courses such as physics, physics lab and chemistry, and the math courses such as trigonometry and statistics. They all took me an immense amount of time each week to complete homework, study for tests and learn course material. After what seemed like limitless hours of course work, I achieved good grades in all of my classes. The next year was even harder due to a 10 page research paper, a 6 month science research project and sophomore mentor duties. This year I am only a few credits away from graduation and I am the National Honor Society President. I take all of my courses on the Dixie State University campus. I am proud of myself for this accomplishment because it is something that took a lot of determination and
