College Admissions Essay: What Makes Me Socially Invisible?

I am invisible. Though that might seem a crazy thing to claim at first but truly I am. I am completely invisible. Sometimes I feel a little transparent, like I almost belong, but I am almost always missing out somehow. but I the fact still stands I am invisible, socially invisible. No matter where I am and regardless of how much I try stand out I just can’t stop blending in. As a member of generation that was raised with technology that makes communicating as easy as a tapping a screen or clicking button it is hard to not find it a little bit ironic, nevertheless I remain invisible. I am a very introspective person, consequently, I overthink a lot about what everyone around me might think of me, what they’ll say before they even speak, and how they might judge me at any waking moment. Being immersed in playing video games is not something I exactly regret because it sparked appreciation and love for technology outside of its entertainment applications that I will never die. I aspire to study computer science independently first and foremost and pursue a degree in it because technology has had such a strong influence on me. Everytime I see major technology companies such as Apple, Microsoft, or Samsung open up new innovate tech to the public I always become even more inspired to study software development and get out of my comfort zone socially to increase my chances of being successful.
