When I was a child, I was obsessed by the idea of winning. I encountered numerous moments and I could remember them all - where I went way beyond my abilities to prove myself. Belonging to a family which runs a successful business has proven to be an inspiration and a source of guidance. It lead me to explore myself, overcome challenges to compete with my successful siblings and have a better insight about businesses from an early age.
I believe that my family has influenced me in various walks of life. Being the youngest of seven siblings, I find myself fortunate enough to be surrounded by businessmen even when I was still a child. My father, who has only completed his middle school is an inspiration for me. Managing a business of over 2 million RMB and servicing a huge market has motivated me to follow his footsteps and take this businesses to new heights. However, working for this food services company made me realize that the company had some major flaws in the marketing department. Experimenting and modifying some strategies in that regard produced some exceptional results to produce quality services and increase the profits. However, having a background of software engineering did not allow me to take any effective action in that matter. This led me to finalize my stance of working with businesses but in specific to the niche of marketing.
I plan on strengthening the marketing department of various businesses to help them get the best out of the opportunities that are in front of them. In this regard, I will target the businesses and business owners like my father who work very hard but lack the formal education to foresee things which can make significant improvements.
The work experience of 5-6 years has given me a very strong perspective about the real world and based on that I would be able to implement the academic learning in a much better way. Through this strong merger of experience, academic knowledge and proper vision I believe I can contribute towards the
