What is freedom to you? You would be surprised how much I think of that. Freedom to me is something beautiful. Freedom to me means that I can be myself. Freedom to me means I can play outside without a worry in the world. Freedom to me is doing what I want.

Even with freedom, I know I owe someone. I owe a veteran my heart and soul for my freedom. I owe a veteran the ability to say the Pledge of Allegiance. I was given the ability to say “home of the brave and land of the free” with truth. I am given the power to proudly say “I live in America, a land of opportunity, a land of freedom, and a land of determination” I can say all this with thanks to a veteran that risked his or her life knowing they may not come back to their families just so
