College Admissions Essay: What I Want To Be In College

Decent Essays
Five years from now I hope to be in college, preferably in a college that is notorious for what I would like to learn. The field I am the most interested would be Marine Biology. There is something so fascinating about the ocean me. I have done some research on colleges that offer the fields I am inclined to choose. In fact, while I’ll was vacationing in Hawaii, specifically on Kauai, the tour guide said that the colleges they have are small, but specialize in that topic. This made me very happy to know because I now have another option for schools, California and Florida are also ideal for this as well.

My grandparents have always been very eager about my education. I’m very grateful to have my family caring about my education

As a child I can remember making lists of what I wanted to be or accomplish when I grew up. Then, the list probably consisted various items including becoming a pop star, owning 30 dogs and eating ice cream for breakfast. Now as a senior in High School, my list of goals has drastically changed and helped to guide me through the college process. Quickly, I realized that my goals parallel many of the Jesuit values that Georgetown University exemplifies. It was after two service trips to West Virginia, tutoring underprivileged children once a week, and being part of my school’s Community Service Corp’s that I realized just how integral a part of service is to who I am.…
