This joy never lasted , later I realized that the happiness I was seeking was superficial and seeking perfection would always leave me empty in an imperfect world. I developed a new found love of learning continue to challenge myself academically and in the process great grades follow. I currently have A’s in all my courses because I found a passion in learning rather than a passion for getting good grades. This new found love to learn made me want everybody to share the same passion as myself , I have turned a small high school enviormental club to my schools largest environmental organization. As president, I turned the club membership from 12 participating members to over 80 4th through 12th grade students and we continue to grow. The platform is to educate people about the environment as well impact the environment in a positive way. While we focus on the environment I’ve put a heavy emphasis on becoming better people in the process. This club is far more than just a great concept we are very active, participating in beach-cleanups, setting up classroom composts, making announcements and much more. In addition I established a non-profit busniness that puts all profit towards making the campus enviormentally

I want to do something big, not just for self satisfaction but for the good of others, in my community or even the world. I decided to join clubs, be an active member of my schools’ s events, and give back as much as I possibly…

Throughout my life there has been a greater emphasis on music and artistic talents rather than on physical attributes. I am not athletically inclined in the slightest, but music comes naturally and a love for it grew from my first and only piano teacher. She threw me my most secure life line when I was seven years old. My parents bought a heavy, ancient and well-used upright piano from one of our neighbors many years ago. It was almost mesmerizing to have a piano at my house and not just my grandparents.…

Success can be devoid of happiness once the moment passes. However, the memories that people make on their road to success can always make one laugh. These memories are full of the happiness and joy you experience as you make mistakes and improvements. So perhaps people shouldn’t focus so much on the treasure chest, but rather take their time on the rainbow and experience all they can, because once the rainbow disappears, there’s no going back. For it is the journey that people embark on to reach their goal that truly brings them happiness.…

For example, I organized a National Honor Society team to participate in the Light the Night Walk, which benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I also assembled a large group of National Honor Society members to assist Habitat for Humanity in building a house for a family in our local community. I believe this progression towards interactive service activities, which allows members to serve others on a personal level, will provide students with a more fulfilling experience and foster a desire to continue active involvement in the community.…

I was born in Germany with a German mother and an American father. The benefit of being born into a German family and living in Europe for the first ten years of my life was the greatest privilege I experienced throughout my sixteen years of living. However, my father was in the military at the time causing for a slight pressure to always be prevalent for the duration of my younger years. This mainly revolved around the fact that my sister was able to grow up in Germany and I wanted that same opportunity. Soon after these aspirations were formed, they became mere dreams that never would be fulfilled because my dad was given orders to either move to Mississippi or Oklahoma, which both deemed to be the middle-of-nowhere.…
