I have heard the saying life is not fair a million times, but it never really affected me until recently. Most everything in my life has not always gone my way; from talents, to sports, to even luck, I just cannot seem to get what I want. Some people tend to have it better than others, because they have everything handed down to them. It is just the way life works. I am not saying I have it the worst, because I know I do not, but sometimes it is really frustrating to see people flourish at everything while I sit there and try, but yet do not succeed.…

Ever since I was little girl, I have had one accomplishment that I want to fulfill: to study in another country and at the same time, learn about a new culture. My aunt moved from Norway to the U.S. when she was nineteen years old to start college and has lived here ever since. She is my great role model. I have been lucky to be able to visit her many times, in fact, as many as seven.
