College Admissions Essay: Looking Into The Future

Improved Essays
Looking into the future, I see a variety of options and opportunities. A year from today, I envision myself taking care of my family and my son/daughter. My plan by this time of the year is to be enrolled in college classes whether it’s online or on campus. From what it looks like, I will most likely be taking online college classes to ensure that I can take care of my child. I currently have a job as well, so I see myself continuing to work there as well as manage everything included in my everyday life. In five years from now I see myself already graduated from college. After graduating, I plan on either pursuing my career or becoming a stay at home mother. Although I have yet to decide the field I’d like to study in, I do have many choices …show more content…
I always dreamed about marrying and growing old with someone and for personal preference I hope that someone is my child’s father. The reason being is because that is what I had always wanted for myself when I was a child. Additionally, my own parents never ended up getting married and later became separated and that is not something I want for my child. As far as so a called “bucket list”, a list of things you want to do before you die, I have many adventures and goals I’d like to accomplish. The adventures consist of traveling, trying new foods, and attempting some, wild, outdoor dares. The places I’d like to travel to Europe, Australia, Ireland, and Scottland. Those few places have always caught my eye Also, hearing from my friends and family experiences when they traveled there themselves, it ponders me if I too will enjoy the sites as likely. I have been so limited on the variety of foods I have enjoyed over my past years. I have tried chocolate from Australia called “flake”. Other than that, I have yet to try outside foods. That adds to another reason why I would appreciate the oppertunity to travel. Some outdoor dares I’d like to do would be skydiving, scoobadiving, zip lining, rock climbing, and bungee jumping. These are all nerve racking yet challenging activities I’d like to accomplish before my time

I will be still a person who has just freshly finished college and in the search for the career of a lifetime. This career that I’m looking for right now looks like a job teaching students how to project their voices and carry a message across to an audience using their bodies and props, how to use stage makeup, how to stage manage, and have fun doing it. Teaching; being able to spend time on something so valuable to your own self and then giving it to students in hope that they take the value with them. Then one student does see the value and take it, all the work pays of and it makes all the difference. In addition to a career search, I might have indeed found the love of my life in college.…
