“Life is as you make it.” The way you decide to live your life is all up to you. Although I don’t take advantage of some things in life I wish I would have, I am pretty satisfied with the way my life is going. A quote that I live by is “Life is as you make it.” You can take that quote in whatever way you want too, but I take it in a positive way. This quote is in multiple places I see on the daily to remind me that it is okay to take risks, be adventurous, and take live life to the fullest. With losing a close childhood from my sophomore year of high school, I try to live life to the fullest and always try something new. Everybody has their own way of living life, but I live by my famous quote. My friends and family are one of the many things I hold near and dear to my heart. Throughout high …show more content…
Don’t get me wrong, having so much technology in our lives it awesome, but it certainly takes away from some aspects of life. Many elementary school kids have the newest technology. For example, some have Ipads, tablets, phones, etc. Not only do these gadgets cost money, they also cause these kids to not be very good talking to others. These kids think they are the coolest person in school because they have a new electronic and they spend entirely way too much time on it. Once the kids put the electronics down, they will learn some good life skills. My philosophy of life is to make the best out of your life. You only live life once, so meet new people, get out of your comfort zone, try new things, and put the electronics down for a little bit. When I think of life, I think of being adventurous and taking advantage of all the opportunities you are given. With my experience of losing a close friend in high school and my father having a heart condition, it really makes me cherish everybody I have in my life. It also makes me thankful for all the opportunities I have been given throughout my

It seems that at some point in our lives, we are taken over by some force, and are tricked into feeling like our desires, our destinies, whatever they may be, have fallen out of reach. Are dreams just a phase that you grow out of after childhood, are they for motivational use, to help us hold on to our sanity when we face each new day, or are they something more? It takes courage to leave behind whatever will slow you down and seek personal happiness. At times we stop listening to that quiet, benevolent voice inside all of us, and sometimes people neglect it altogether when they most need guidance and direction. Siddhartha stirred up my emotions, reinforced a philosophy that I live by, and made me want to rethink my life's goals.…

Life is simply perspective. Some say that you have your whole life to do something, while others will argue that life is short and you should enjoy it to the full extent of it’s worth. You can look at something as exquisite, or atrocious. It doesn’t change what it is, but it changes your reaction to it. No matter how sure you are about the morality, someone else could view it differently.…

n the novel Life of Pi there a variety well written quotes about life but, the one quote that resonated with me the most was, "You must take life the way it comes at you and make the best of it " (Martel, 45). This quotes was exemplified throughout the various difficulties that Pi faced and I myself agree with it. Personally I didn’t have much awareness of this quote and didn't truly appreciate it but an event that occurred in my life changed my view about it. When I was in sixth grade I just like any other kid happy and joyful, but that year brought a change in me.…

Introduction: An issue hotly debated is whether or not kids should have technology. Some people think it is great for kids to surround themselves with technology and the internet but research show that that is not the case. Kids think the internet is a great place but really there are inappropriate photos, videos, games, and websites. Kids should most definitely not have technology because it affects their health/ abilities, it does not give them a chance to just be kids, and it can cause cyberbullying.…

I don’t think technology is bad. Just like with math, you are taught the basics, the fundamentals but there is always a way around to make things easier, i.e. calculators. Children need to be shown how to live life without some of the major technologies first before they use it. Don’t just allow your child to sit inside all day and play video games. Don’t allow your teenager to just send text messages, make…

Timothy Seigfried Dr. Andel English 15 12 November 2015 Technological Influences We have all seen that one child playing with a brand new iPhone and thought to ourselves “I never had that when I was young”. Technology is always changing and it is affecting the way children are growing up. Instead of seeing children with stuffed animals and blankets you now commonly see them holding some sort of technology whether it be a phone, game device, or music device. Most of these tools have readily available access to the internet.…

Life is a very broad, difficult topic to speak about. Often times, people have conflicting thoughts on what they think the value of life is, what the point of life is, or what life is really supposed to mean. Should it be based off of materialistic possessions? Should who a person is or what they do with their life define them? Or should humans simply live as they desire and not put a price tag on another person until after they are dead?…
