In this time of crisis when tough decisions are being made it is important to make the right ones. As you decide who should get into the compound and who should not, I would ask you to consider me. I am a strong, young man. I am resourceful and willing to work. I am a leader and a follower. I am talented. I am unique. I am a Christian. I am compassionate and caring.
I am strong and young. This makes me a good choice to be given a space. I will thrive and grow. I will be able to be part of the future. I will be able to help with all manual labor, chores, and needs. I will be able to help with all that is needed to make the compound a well maintained place.
I am resourceful and hardworking. I am a Boy Scout. I have many skills that allow me to help others. I am CPR and 1st aid trained. I know how to deal with a variety of emergency situations. I am

I am a Scout leader and oversee many Scouts. I give orders and follow orders well. I am not afraid to take charge and take the lead. I am also able to follow instructions and help where needed.
I am talented. I play the trombone. It is important to preserve our culture and arts. When we walk away and rebuild I will be able to teach others this art. I will be able to inspire others with my talent.
I am unique. As General George Patton once said, “If everyone is thinking alike, someone isn’t thinking.” I don’t think like others. Everybody else might feel panic and fear. I will too, however, I will also feel like this is an opportunity to be strong and to survive.
I am a Christian. I believe fully in the Lord. I believe Jesus is our Savior. I know the word of the Lord so I will be able to teach the Bible to others. We are told in the Bible to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” Matthew 28:19.
