It is the 21st Century and technology drives everything in the life of a modern human being. From the moment we wake up in the morning with help from the alarm in our smartphone, to the moment we go to bed at night watching TV, turning the lights off, and most often than not, checking social media one last time before we fall asleep. Technology connects people from all over the world, helps us keep updated in the latest news and if you are truly lucky, it also helps you find your passions. I am happy to count myself lucky, because thanks to technology I found the one thing that has always made my heart race in excitement: Computers. I remember the day I got my first computer, it was the day I graduated the fourth grade in elementary school. I was barely eight years old and my mom, a single mother since I was two years old, took me to a mall to celebrate that it was the last day of school. I remember passing by a store full of desktop computers and staring at them with longing eyes. At the time, we lived in a very small town in the country of Colombia, and I knew that it was almost impossible for us to ever get one of those but my mom did not see it that way. It is such a well-rounded program that would allow me to become the very best professional I can be. There are several areas of Computer Information Systems that interest me, like Video Game programming and designing, websites, and programming in general; that I feel it would be a life changing experience for me to be able to learn so many different aspects of something I have been so passionate about for so many years; in an institution such as Fullerton College where not only are their programs so adaptable to the students interest but also cover everything there is to know for curious minds like
