Four Years of My Life The idea of spending four years of your life in college may seem like a challenge to some people or for others simply a waste of time. However I see it as a prospering opportunity that will bring positive outcomes later on in the future, not only for me, but for others. The opportunity to attend college is a privilege that many people around the world do not have, and would do anything to have. I see college also as a chance to set an example for anyone younger than me that is also interested in attending college to motivate them and show them that it is possible. Besides these reasons college will also leave anyone with many benefits, such as having a better chance to find a job than someone who just has their high school diploma. These are just a few reasons on why I have decided to spend four years of my life in college. …show more content…
We all know that college is very costly, and because of this many people all around the world cannot afford to go. Both of my parents were unfortunate enough to not be able to attend college and they always have told me that the best thing that I could do for myself was to go to college. Situations like these are what make me value and be thankful for what I have. I do not want to waste this great opportunity knowing that many people do not have the choice on whether or not they want to go to college.
