For my whole life, my dad has been my backup, my inspiration, and my biggest fan, and my hardest teacher. He motivates me to do my best in every aspect that I can. I cannot thank him enough for giving me all of the knowledge I can and will use for the rest of my life. My loving father raised me to keep my sense of humor while being responsible where necessary, to work diligently, and to maturely manage my finances.
While I don’t resemble my dad closely, I did inherit his nose and his humorous personality. Because of this, we get along like peas in a pod. My mom often comments that we are just like each other in many ways, such as: we both have a knack for English, we are very goal-oriented, we both love coffee, and we both have a lot of drive. The man who mentored him and worked above him retired and sold his office to my dad, who quickly became an esteemed dentist in the area. His hard work and determination has instilled in me a passion to work hard for what I want, and to do so with a good attitude and work ethic. When I feel down about school or my friends, I look to him for advice and comfort. He understands me so well and always knows what I need, whether it’s a hug or a coffee from my favorite coffee shop. Like my father’s drive in establishing himself in the dentistry community, I also have a drive for establishing myself among my coworkers. Moreover, leaving a good impression is the first way to make friends who can help me out when I’m in a predicament. I have gained all of these amazing skills and my love for coffee from my dad. He taught me to ride a bike a six, then how to drive a car at sixteen. He’s been there for all of my major accomplishments and milestones in life and I could not be more appreciative of him. He was there to take my training wheels off, then again when I got my license, and he gave me my first car. I know he’ll always be there for the big
