After school got accepted into University but was not sure if I would enjoy it, and was not confident that I would choose a University course that I would enjoy for four years. I wanted to do science but not sure of which branch of science I wanted to go into, so I decided that I would join the Army. Joining the Army, to me, was the best decision of my life, it enabled me to get out and see Australia and have some life experiences that I would not get anywhere else.
Since being in the Army I have developed a passion for psychology and the Foundation studies program is a pathway that can take me there. I would eventually like to work with veterans with PTSD and depression as I believe that our veterans are not properly looked after when they come back from deployment, and there are thousands of veterans out there that are undiagnosed and facing mental conditions alone.
