I learned new instruments, began to write songs, and frantically sought out fellow artists to collaborate with. Fortunately, I found the right talent with which I coordinated a first official band practice after a year of searching. However, the people I found became much more than talent. Over the next few years, we grew together, becoming close friends as well as decent musicians with great chemistry together. Our project provided the perfect outlet for my creativity. Opportunities to release the ideas pent up in my head surfaced as I wrote songs, dreamt up ways we could get famous, and put together a very official Facebook page for our friends to like. Once again, a new world opened up for me as I let music engulf a new part of my life.
The music I pursued matured along with me, and my desire to play punk rock covers and write simplistic jingles dried up. I proposed the idea of releasing music, and after relentless nagging, convinced my collaborators. For months, my computer’s browser was filled with instructional videos related to mixing and recording music. While my bandmates groaned and whined about the recording process, I secretly loved it. It brought me back to the first time I walked into bluefish music; this time the oddity was that I harnessed the ability to build something with no limits on the creativity I could contribute to
