College Admissions Essay: A Career In Medicine

Many people have a variety of talents, interests, and an identity that makes them unique. My grandfather once told me, “You are what you want to become, do not let anyone change your way of being.” What he meant was that I should not let anyone change me for who I am not. One of my interests is Medicine, since I want to become an OB/GYN when I graduate. Some of my identities are that I am organized, creative, and a fast learner; people can totally tell. Some of my talents are multitasking, play piano, and baking.
Medicine became an interest to me when I entered high school. It has been my career pathway ever since, but I did not know what I desired to become until my senior year. At first, I hoped to be a nurse because it appeared to be less difficult. Then, my sophomore and junior year, I wanted to become a Psychologist, and I thought I was going to stick to it, but when I became a senior, I figured I decided to be an OB/GYN. It really

They did not have to learn music or sport to become talented. Having said that, a growing number of people believe they any child can be the best chess player or the fastest swimmer in the world as long as he receives the right teaching and proper direction. One of my talents is that I can play the piano. I started when I was a freshman in high school and ever since I started playing it. My teacher always assigned me to play in recitals and compete in the “NOVYI Piano Competition.” It is a talent that I thought I was never going to own because I would always find it difficult to play. Baking is also one of my many talents in a way that I can bake delicious cakes for our family cookouts all the time. It is not really a hobby, but every time there is an event, I always make the desert. Also, I can multitask with many activities that I do. I can be listening to the teacher give the lecture clearly and be taking notes as well; not many people can do
