My country has a storage of several things such as the health care system, stable hospitals with experienced doctors and nurses, new technologies, and etc. In Africa, there are not enough medical equipment or modern technology to save lives. Hospitals are alienated by people who need them the most, and if people manage to go to the hospital, they do not have the money to pay the hospital bills. In addition, sometimes they have serious diseases that doctors cannot find a cure for. Ultimately, many people lose their lives every day to diseases that are not yet known, for instance, Ebola disease outrage. Two year later, I changed that dream to lawyer and from lawyer to account. Now, I am in the place I should have been in the first place. I am glad that I am going with my first choice. The decision I made about my career was a personal one and I would not say that it won’t affect society. I know it will because I want to save people’s life and give them the healthcare they need. I had seemed the pain and suffering people go through therefore I will use everything that will learn in my field to help save patient’s life.
I feel like society do not value some professions job or employment because they do not pay very well. I disagree with the people who say that because some people choice career because they love doing the job or they have strong passion for it. As a child, I remember my mother would bring me to the doctor’s office every other week for minimal reasons, such as a simple cough or a headache. Although I insisted I felt fine, she was always worried my condition was worse than it appeared. Over time, the appointments became mundane as there was nothing significantly wrong with me, and my pediatrician told my mother to stop bringing me so often. As I got older, I realized my mother and I grew in different settings. She was raised in a Vietnamese village, where access to treatment and health care education were limited and overlooked.…

To be successful, to be intelligent, to be a change. Those are the three main reasons I want to attend college. In this day and age, many jobs require a higher level of education to be able to work. Those jobs that don’t require a degree, depend upon more manual labor, backbreaking work and lower wages. I would rather remain in school longer, expand my knowledge, and get a career on everything I have learned, than go straight to the work field to earn less and do more.…

While sickness may ravage the country there are also multitudes of other dangerous and unwanted conditions; conflict, and I do not mean an insignificant fight rivalling a late night brawl, but the devastation of war over money, power, and territory. Above all study show that one in four African are malnourished and starving as of 2014 ("World Hunger and Poverty Facts and Statistics by WHES"), yet people in developed nation just dispose of food like nothing is out of the ordinary. From this may arise the question, should we put down our silver spoons and reach out from our lavish bubble to support those less fortunate than us? On the other hand, having the ability to help others is sovereignty, as cliché as it may sound; with great power comes great responsibility, and one must weigh the cons and pros before hastily acting. Therefore one must ask themselves is the option to aid the impoverished truly the best choice of action one…

When I was a young girl, pencils and paintbrushes were practically extensions of my fingers. I may not have been able to recite the alphabet or count to 26, but with a box of magic markers, I had 1,000 words at my fingertips. My first few years of school consisted of many parent-teacher meetings that revolved around the fact that it seemed impossible to keep me from scribbling sloppy stars and smiley faces on every assignment. That is until one day, I finally found a subject that I was truly interested in, and could also benefit from my hobbies and talents: science. I came to love science because it is fascinating, constantly changing, and most aspects of the subject allowed me to expand my mind further than my imagination.…
