However, I haven’t yet developed my own signature silhouette, which I believe makes me a person who is more open and willing to learn. I spent my high school career trying to figure out what I am passionate about, what my talent is. Growing up, I watched my brothers and sisters venture into and excel at sports and extracurricular activities, such as basketball, football, art, etc., while I focused on distressing my hand-me-down jeans and folding the bottoms of my over-sized school pants. I would do anything to look different, to be different. I always wanted to find a way to be heard, to say things that I didn’t know how to verbally say. I always …show more content…

I never really saw myself as someone that was into fashion until that moment. When I saw that dress I admired it to the point that I wanted to begin learning how to make something similar. I wanted and still want to learn the details to all the ins and outs of fashion design and the

Growing up in an artistic household, there had never been a time that dance was not present in my life. At an early age, I was exposed to the arts and show business and nothing intrigued me more. I fell in love with everything the theater had to offer and eventually it became my second home. As I grew older, and my motor skills emerged, nothing and no one could restrain me from dancing to the imaginary rhythms that flowed through my body.…

I am not a journalist; I am a screenwriter, but like you, I have an affinity for writing because it is a fine art, like sculpting or painting. In college, I was a political science major, and I loved it because every course taught me something new and exciting about the structure of governments, the ideologies of foreign countries, or the norms and customs of any given culture. Whether I was documenting the plight of African American children in the South or the rise of the Islamic Republic in Iran, I enjoyed telling stories. I believe journalism requires first-rate storytelling ability, because if the truth is distorted so is the integrity of the journalist. Conveying emotions in an honest and creative manner is a special skill, and anybody who loves the craft of writing understands that cutting through the black and white, is what makes the relationship between author and reader so sacred.…
