In such a short amount of time I have been accomplished much through school, church, and extracurricular activities. In 18 years I have lived in three different houses, attended four different schools, and have become interested in theatre arts; I have been through many, many pets and witnessed the funerals of many family members; I have attended Governors School, one of the most prestigious things for a high school student to do; and have loved every minute. It is truly crazy for a person like me to think of where they will be and what they will be doing in 15 years, the possibilities are endless, but if I needed to sit down and decided or create a plot of life I would have to start with the beginning. In the next five years of my life I see myself as a person that will grow into a greater theatrically inclined person and striving to still be better, still see the limit is nowhere in sight.…

24 Short Hours A lot of people say that they don’t have enough hours in a day to complete everything they want to complete. Imagine if they had one day to live, how would they feel about those very short twenty-four hours. I would not be the one to want to know when I die, but if I was to know that I was going to die exactly twenty-four hours from now, I definitely wouldn’t be typing this paper right now. Others may want to do something crazy, just to make themselves feel accomplished before death. I would want to spend the entire day with the people I love.…

Throughout my 15 years of life, I have just recently disclosed the relevance of stepping outside of your comfort zone and embracing your dreams. To fully experience life and face new events, we need to be committed to step outside of our comfort zone and live life to its fullest potential. This applies to me personally because as a dancer, I want to continue dancing throughout my life and make a career with my dancing.…

Junior Year. Everyone says junior year is the most strenuous year of high school. Through my experience, my freshman and sophomore years as a musician were terrifying. On top of the shock of the new atmosphere at school, I had to play my instrument with and in front of others, which was quite a stretch for me at the time. I would always beat myself up about minute mistakes I had glorified during rehearsals, playing tests, and especially auditions. However, after I did not make an Illinois Allstate ensemble my junior year, my approach to these nerve-wracking situations completely changed. Instead of thinking failing negatively, those uncomfortable experiences actually made me improve as I had taken more auditions.…
