When I think of college, I think of the opportunities I'll gain to access the world. To me, a good citizen is someone who aspires to learn as much as they can about the world, and do as much as they can to connect to the different people that live in this world everyday. Travelling across the world, or even to the next state, allows for a person to have different experiences and have new relationships. These relationships are the foundation of our society, allowing for the spread of knowledge and perspectives. This creates a world where we become more tolerable to other cultures and aren't afraid to try something new. A college education will allow for me to build these relationships and encounter new problems that the world faces. College
