What contributions will you make to the university as a Panther Advisor Leader (PAL)? The contributions I would like to be able to make to the university as a Panther Advisor Leader for 2016-2017 is the ability to represent Prairie View A&M in the best way possible. My post-secondary educational goals is to graduate from college with a master’s or doctorate's degree in Native American, Ethnic, or American studies. I have yet to decided what career I would like to pursue. However, I know that whatever it may be, I imagine myself working to help the Native people and will pursue that in whatever form that may be in. I believe I have a role as a Native American to attended and graduate college and apply that degree to improving life on the reservation for Native students and Native citizens. Despite roadblocks and situations where all odds could be against me, I proceed to carry on because I’m driven by my own interests and ambitions to keep pursing a better education for myself.…
For me, I set goals because I want to achieve many things in my life. My goals are the dreams that I desire to become a reality. These goals are both long and short - term. I believe that University of Alabama’s Early College program will help me achieve my college goals because it will give me a taste of what is to come and preparation for the future. Over the years, I've become very interested in the medical field and I would like to become a pediatric surgeon. As you may already know, pursuing this career requires almost a decade of education in and out of the classroom. This is an excellent way to take as many college classes in high school as I can so I can enjoy college and have an easier experience once enrolled as a full-time student. If I was to be accepted into this prestigious program I would work to the best of my abilities to be successful.…

As an honor student, I am always making excellent grades and constantly staying on top of my schoolwork. At Cross Creek High School, I am looked upon as an ideal student and I have set an example for the younger classes. Beyond Cross Creek, I will be a great role model at the University of Georgia for younger students to want to strive to be like, if not better. Not only do I exceed in the classroom, but I also exceed in the relationships that I bestow with my teachers and peers. Since I have a diversity of friends, I understand that one's social and cultural differences are what make each individual's personality so unique.…
Being in my last year of high school I have begun to think about what goals I want to accomplish during college or after college. I have come to a conclusion that after college I would like to obtain my doctorate degree in Veterinary Medicine and start a family. After college I would love to get my doctorate because I enjoy helping animals and their owners. Growing up I have always had a soft spot for animals in my heart, but by majoring in wildlife sciences, it will allow me to come out of my shell and take a different path from just dogs and cats. Also by majoring in this department, I hope to encounter different cultural backgrounds so that I can grow culturally and learn about others while helping them with whatever struggles they…

I plan on attending college because of the vast amount of opportunities available to students for further study in refined subjects. Universities possess the capability to hone a student into a refined character that holds knowledge not provided many places elsewhere. Schools will be positively affected by my attendance because I like to explore new ideas, concepts, and enjoy learning about various topics. I will be the first to jump at an opportunity to study an interesting topic because learning genuinely excites me. Also, I successfully manage my time in completing assignments while juggling after school activities.…
A long term goal is to live in a nice apartment by myself where it is peace and quiet. I can achieve this goal by completing three important things. College is a time for personal growth and self-exploration. A transitional period from the womb of the educational field to the world of the work force. To achieve greatness, one cannot wander; goals must be set to accomplish what many would consider impossible. During my high school days, I would have never thought that in college I would have made it onto the dean’s list with a 3.71 GPA. Now I have something to strive for, an ambition to make it onto the president’s list with at least a GPA of 3.75.…
