Colleen did not plan her current career path. She went to school and got her bachelor degree in psychology but did not pursue anything with it. As she sat and talked about her life, she got choked up when she spoke about her children, “I want to finish well. In life and as a parent. All I ever wanted was to be a good mother and a good wife”. That was her main goal in life and she is still pursuing it to this day. Colleen got married when she was only 18 years old and had her children by age 24. Colleen was asked what her greatest achievement in her life was and she immediately responded by saying that it was her kids. “I’m so incredibly proud of them”, Colleen said. Colleen’s kids aren’t perfect, but she doesn’t care. She loves them unconditionally. Colleen works for her children and hopes to leave a legacy for her children and in the treatment center. The things impacting Colleen’s life weren’t all positive, there were many challenges she had to overcome before becoming the successful person she is
