Making a video for marketing project can be difficult: getting students to participate, having a crystal clear concept to make an effective ad etc. Last year, I took a marketing management course where our teacher assigned the students a class project; the class project was about making a presentation and ad, coming up with our own brand name and packaging. Since it was a mega project for the whole class, it was difficult for everyone to even where to start from. Our teacher did give some hints and instructions, to make things easier she told the class to make an ad for any product we wanted. It was a tough choice to make because there were various categories of products and we were targeting an easy category, after discussing amongst ourselves we decided to do make a marketing campaign on a milk. It was a long project where everyone had to make at least some contributions, so we decided to make a group page on Facebook where everyone could communicate and share their ideas, the first thing was to come up with a name for our product, everyone had different names for it. …show more content…
Collaborative teamwork was the main key of this project, it taught the students to work with everyone whether they had good relationship or not. Especially for me, I learned how to stay myself confident and also learned to work others including ones with whom I think were detrimental and burden to the group. From this project, I gained confidence from the second video I played in because this was my first time acting in front of the camera and it required guts to do this work without any mistakes. The other thing I learned from working in a group is that a person should learn to tolerate and be constructive. So, the most important thing for me from this essay confidence and teamwork, and that is something what I personally lack in certain

Often times our clients require multidisciplinary care through: physicians, nurses, physiotherapy, occupational therapist, pharmacist, mental health worker, social worker…etc. Jeffs et al. (2017) reinforces this when he describes how collaborative practice occurs when “multiple health workers from different professional backgrounds provide comprehensive services by working with patients… to deliver the highest quality of care across settings” (p.40). Thus, collaborative practice enhances our client’s care, as we are able to efficiently access a number of resources that a client may not be aware of. It is the failure of communication, coordination and collaboration within the health care team that often leads to medical errors and negative health…

There are two parts to group work that I found to be incredibly important to success, which are, communication and organization. In regards to communication, being able to effectively lay out what we need to accomplish and what is left to accomplish is essential to a quick and painless process. I feel like Alex and I communicated quite effectively, making this project quite simple. As for organization, laying out the each sides goals is necessary to be able to fill a role. In all, as long as we communicated clearly what each side needed to do, I feel that each can fill their obligation without much…

Collaborative work begins with communication and a mutual understanding of the end goal. For example, the 2010 disaster relief effort in El Salvador, multinational organizations united for the benefit of the affected people, who suffered a multitude of illness, damage to their homes, and ability to seek basic human needs. This form of collaborative takes an organizational strategy, which enables several organizations to take a strategic approach in problem solving, planning, preparing, and executing an effective program, in providing the required aid (Davis 2011). Additionally, the aftermath of the 9/11 attack against the United States is another event, which illustrates the fundamentals of collaborative work (GAO 2010).…

Though I have participated in many group projects throughout my educational and professional life, learning skills are crucial to making a team work. Sometimes it is easy to adapt to the group and feel like you have a great team, while other times it is a little hard to build a connection. Looking back on group projects, I believe that the ones that succeeded were do to the foundation the group had. The ones that didn’t do so well were not only due to personality difference, but no foundation with the group.…

Whether you are a part of a social group or on a group project for school or work everyone has the want and need to be included, when group members don’t feel like they have fully been accepted in to the group they can become withdrawn and anti-social which would lead them to not be a contributing part of the team. Having a diverse group of people on a team can help a team more effectively and efficiently reach their common goal. If everyone on the team had the exact same life experiences, was the same age and the same culture they more than likely would have the same general way to approach the group’s common goal. Having diversity on the team can help generate more ideas because everyone’s life experiences and cultural differences have helped form the way they think and the way that they solve problems. Roles, needs and diversity affect a group’s teamwork immensely because if members aren’t performing their specific goal and only focusing on a self-centered role the groups work will either multiply for the other members of the group or the group’s common goal might not be met.…

Apparently, the interactive nature of a knowledgebased society and a knowledge-based economy mandates the ability to collaborate. “Those who have successfully created cultures of innovation and creativity suggest that one key is to… embrace participation, collaboration, networking…” Collaboration and teamwork is such a key element to many aspects of life - it appears everywhere, and this skill comes in handy later in life in many situations, maybe even tomorrow. It took me a slight bit of willingness to give collaboration and teamwork a shot and understand what is behind it, it’s not just wanted or unwanted socialization, like I thought before, it might be the key to building a business empire, for all I can know. In the modern age, when a lot of the things are already invented, it’s hard to come up with something new on your own. It’s the innovation that rarely takes place in just one head.…
