Doing whatever comes to a leader's mind could be a problem because in a society there are different mind sent between the younger and older generations. “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much” ― Helen Keller . What she meant by that quote is that working together can get us somewhere but working alone and thinking you could make it work will be hard and you will not be able to make your society happy. Every leader should have the characteristics, passion to help the community and make it a better place to acquire a good leadership. Authoritative leadership is effective in some circumstances, however, for the most part, collaborative leadership is the strongest way to lead because fear and power can sometimes create anarchy …show more content…
A collaborative leader get help from the people or ideas and proceeds from there. In Plato, The Republic “the kings and princes of this world have the spirit and power of philosophy” (Source C) Cities and human race will never have peace until philosophers are king. Cities (Society) will never be free from evil authoritative leadership joins with rational thought in decision making. What the Philosopher meant is that people and the leader have to be one hand to achieve anything. Likewise in Macbeth. Macbeth said “He hath honored me of late, and I have bought Golden opinions from all sorts of people.” (Source A) King Duncan hounded him for his actions and a lot of people look up to Macbeth after that. What that means is that all the people are at the some level which makes it a great community. Similarly Macbeth stated “Your highness' part Is to receive our duties, and our duties Are to your throne and state children and servants, Which do but what they should, by doing everything Safe toward your love and honor.” (Source A) What this quote states is to keep the king safe and take care of him by doing everything possible.
