Collaborative consultation is a process in which diverse individuals work alongside one another to generate solutions and combine their expertise. Such collaboration is imperative to meet the specific needs of students within an educational setting. School psychologists have a responsibility to create environments that that promote and encourage all members to be open, supported and intrinsically motivated to work towards a collaborative approach that aligns with the mission and vision of the school.
