Collaboration is a practical method of achieving your professional development goals. When you collaborate with other teachers you both are responsible for a percentage of the outcome based on the decisions you make. Both collaborators are responsible for materials regarding the subject they are discussing. For example, a general education teacher may have worksheets and activities for her students in her classroom and the special education teacher may have resources that target the same course of study but in an understandable way or on a lower developmental level for a child with disabilities.
