Do we every stop and wonder why we're doing all this? Man puts itself through misery and it kicks itself every day because that's what society taught it to do. I in fact envy homeless people, they may not be happy due to lack of money, but they are free. True freedom does not come from conformity, it comes from living each day with meaningful reason. Our lives should be led with aggressive passion and sharp risks and violent adventure. Though every day we wake up and head to school or a job, purely on the fact that our society told us to. This makes me sad to see our lives so shallowly lived. There are wonderful things passing before our eyes, on the television, the radio, and the internet. There are millions of opportunities out there, but we refuse to take them because society teaches limitation. Then you proceed to flip to a different channel. This has happened to all of us, but we live in a world now where these problems are far away, and it's just a program on the television. Mans mind now has no sympathy for what the media says, we see sadness and hurt, but the minute we see the commercial of HOOTER'S, our spirits are lifted. The race we live in today would much rather spend their money at Hooter's than for children starving in Africa. That is disturbing to think that there are so many terrible things in this world and we are so wealthy and privileged and we know that we can help them, but we refuse to travel because that would cost money. A lot of people see traveling as a few weeks here and there, seeing different destinations, eating at local restaurants. But when it comes to experience within travel (which is what most people seek) People must realize that travel is one of the most
