Countless amounts of U.S. citizens volunteer to put their life on the line to protect U.S. soil each year. They dedicate their lives to ensure that American’s have the security and freedom that individuals desire. That well-known fabric that once made an appearance on the moon is the American nation’s symbol commonly called the American Flag. Due to Colin Kaepernick's decision to kneel during the National Anthem to protest against unjust race prejudice, it brought forth governmental distress and loss of respect for the NFL.
Colin Kaepernick began his nonviolent protest multiple months prior to gaining all the media attention.
