With kneeling they are trying to call their attention to the police violence and the injustice of black America. Athletes all around the country are joining Colin Kaepernick in the kneeling during the national anthem as a sign as solidarity. Solidarity is the agreement of an action with the support of a group. We are able to stand up for whatever we want without being punished but we do not always have to express our opinions if we do not want to. People should just step back and let people have their opinions and not fight with them about what they are doing that they do not like.
After gathering all this information I believe that we should let people have their own opinions and not try to affect them. If we stay out of all of this mess we will be able to live in a peaceful place where everyone can stand up for what they want to stand up for without causing any problems with each other. Since kneeling during the national anthem is not hurting anyone it should be protected under the right of freedom of speech and we should respect each others thoughts on this
