In the novel Touching Spirit Bear the main character's name is Cole. There is nothing he is afraid of, I know because on page 17 he said,¨I'm not afraid of dying.¨ So if you're not afraid of dying there is not anything you are afraid of. I also know that Cole doesn't respect Garvey. In the text on page 1 to back me up it says, ¨He didn't trust anyone who wasn't afraid of him.¨ And in the book Garvey is not afraid of him at all, he literally slapped him and didn't get beat up. The text clearly states, ¨But Cole refused his parents hands he folded his hands directly across

Anxiety comes in all different shapes and sizes and affects people in thousands of different ways, this carries over to anxiety in literary as well. There are both similarities and differences between Young Goodman Brown by Nathaniel Hawthorne and The Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allen Poe, a lot of this has to do with the authors and their approaches. While Young Goodman Brown and The Tell Tale Heart seem to be very different in the way the characters explain their insanity and with the way they handle the anxiety, they are similar in the extensive detail the author uses to tell their story.…
