"Cola Wars"

When you go to a restaurant, the first thing your waitress/waiter asks you is "What can i get you to drink?" You might respond,"Coca Cola Please." Your server then says, "Is Pepsi fine?" Some people may not think much of this question or just simply not care, but should they?

It all began in the 1886, when John Pemberton made the recipe which many eventually called "the worlds best known taste" or "the best soda drink in the world." That drink was created in Atlanta, Georgia and became known as Coca Cola, or Coke. Thirteen years later in 1893, in New Bern, North Carolina, a pharmacist named Caleb Bradham created the recipe for Coke's soon to be biggest rival, Pepsi. According to the Nutrtional facts, Coke has a little more sodium than Pepsi, snd Pepsi has slightly more calories, sugar, and caffeine. Being that they taste similar and have almost the same nutrtional facts, the next major causes of the economic differences is their forms of advertising. Coca Cola advertises not only with television ads and more, but by telling about the charities and how much money they donate to good causes. These charities include Water, Recycling, and other enviormental companies, Education, encouraging Active healthy living, and Diaster Relief fundations. Coca Cola also is a big part of believing in Women's Economic Empowerment. This not only shows that those who run Coca Cola are good people, but also makes you wonder what Pepsi does with their profits. Pepsi, unlike Coke, focuses moreso on advertising with celebrities, like Beyouce, Brtiney Spears, etc. This leads one to believe that maybe Coke is a better company to
