No matter one's name, race, sex, country, or history, there are a few unalienable rights and abilities that each person has, one such right being the ability to make choices. Technically speaking, one holds absolute dominion over their actions, and no one else can control what a person does. However, this sentiment does not mean that choice and freedom should be absolute, on the contrary, as absolute freedom would be the equivalent of anarchy. As the old adage goes, just because one can, does not mean one should. There are a plethora of things a person could do but would be considered immoral, which of course, begs the question of where one should draw the line. Petty emotions aside, the purpose of coitus is to procreate and produce children, and thus engaging in coitus outside of this context would be excessive and unnecessary. One should not give consent if they are unprepared to face the consequences of their actions, which, according to a study conducted by Guttmacher Institute, people did anyway, with over 70% of people stating that they got an abortion since they were unprepared and unwilling to face the consequences of their choices.
