The main area where the treatment is done mostly is on upper body. It is usually from torso and up, especially on the person’s back or chest. Cao Gio literally means, “catch the wind”. They believe that the excess wind is the illness stuck inside the individual’s bodies, mainly a disruption to their body causing an unbalance. Although there have been several researchers finding and stating a conclusion, their analysis might not be accurate. It may seem as you are being treated correctly, but only your mind knows how sick you really are. It could be psychology, how the mind confuses its actual treatment or if the body really does cure itself.
