In figure 4a it shows which protein it shown in a membrane raft fraction before and after FCεRI stimulation. The figure show that it was a control test with the membrane raft fraction, and a second one with FCεRI. The proteins that was tested for was CTx, α IKK2, α SNAP-23, α Syntaxin 4, α VAMP-2. The paper wanted to see if IKK2 was going to react to stimulation of FCεRI. In the control experiment it shows that CTx was on the fifth band of membrane raft fraction. When it came to α IKK2 the band start to show up on the sin band until the twelfth band. The α SNAP-23, α Syntaxin 4, α VAMP-2 all show up on the fifth band in the control experiment. The α SNAP-23 was larger on the fifth band than any other protein. The control test show that α IKK2 did not show up on the fifth band in the membrane raft.

In the figure the researchers had for different setting to test if the different combination of SNAP-23 and IKK2 will show up with different charges. The first one is FLAFG and GFP is together. It was detected a small amount when SNAP-23 is negative and IKK2 is positive, and IkK2 is negative and SNAP-23 is positive. IT also showed that it was strongly shown when both IKK2 and SNAP-23 was positive. When GFP is the only was showed it was a different effect. It was only detected when SNAP-23 and IKK2 is both positive, and SNAP-23 is positive when IKK2 is negative. When FLAG is the only one to show up it is detected on two time. This time it’s detected when SNAP-23 and IKK2 is both positive, and IKK2 is positive when SNAP-23 is negative. What things tests have told the researchers when SNAP-23 and IKK2 is both positive everything is detected. When both of them is negative the FLAG and GFP will not be detected.
