In the video “Private Idaho”, the misunderstanding of bias was that the town of Coeur d’Alene is a racist town trying to escape diversity. The families who move to this town are trying to preserve the American culture and share a conservative lifestyle. Biasness in race is a huge setback that our country faces. I also think that racism in our country is just a misinterpretation of the races. While Coeur d’Alene is an all-white based community, other towns have all an all-black communities, or even a china town. But are these towns considered racist? These towns just have a common interest and migrate together. Just because a community is just one specific race, does not make it racist.

The video shows several examples of how Idaho is not against other races. Many actions are being done to open the minds of those who live in Idaho. It is expressed that these civilians do not care about race or cultural background, but your beliefs. While there is some discrimination, it is not by the majority, but select few. Those of different races, or cultural backgrounds, express their love for Idaho and how they do not want to leave.
