Yes, I believe that my personal ethics correlate well with the Code of Ethics. I agree that as a social worker, I need to do what is the best for the client and that includes keeping their information confidential. I would also agree that it is essential to be respectful to everyone and take into consideration that everyone has a different background and their own belief system.

I think if I was more organized and time-oriented I would be able to finish my work in a shorter time period. In order to develop these qualities I could buy a weekly planner and write down tasks that I have for the week and limit certain hours to complete each task. To overcome my fear of public speaking, I could take a speech class and practice multiple times before presenting. Sometimes I get scared when it comes to asking questions because I don’t want to sound dumb, but I know that I need to start asking more questions in class. As a student and future social worker I think it would be best if I start asking my instructors and colleagues for help or for a second opinion if I need it. I imagine that through the social work classes and life experiences I will be exposed to different solving methods and will gain knowledge on how to apply them to real life situations.
