Introduction:
Processed food may also refer the convenience food which are usually ready for consumption without further preparation . These processed food regularly will have a long shelf life and can be easily moved from one place to another. Processed food may also include the ready to eat food, dry goods or the frozen foods such as the snacks like hips and instant mix like the instant noodles ,soft drinks ,nuts, processed meats ,cheese and pizza etc.
The Food processing Industry is one of the largest industry and which amounts to 32% of the country’s food market. The food process Industry may include the MTR Food’s ready to eat stuff etc. The major other players operating may include the Godrej industries limited, Britannia Industries limited,

The company should not only aim at maximization of profits and maximization of the shareholders return, but also concentrate on the social and the ethical aspects in order to measure the economic and ecological parameters of the food processing industry.
“We have everything in this world to meet man’s need but not his greed”(Mahatma Gandhi).This quote of Gandhi clearly concentrates and states that the code of ethics need to be adapted to achieve self satisfaction and proving welfare to the economy.
The NHRC(National human Rights Commission) has decided and drafted the code of ethics for the food processing industry in order to protect the society against the harmful effect like adulteration, malnutrition, corruption etc. The business should take its ethical obligations concerning with the food very seriously by clearly opposing adulteration, malnutrition,corruption and fraud practises, as it forms the most important necessity of a human

The rural to urban migration has also drastically increased in the production of processing industry at a much faster rate. The Food production concerning with the processed food should be produced at a more quality and quantitative basis in order to cover the demand for he product .The ready made products are instant food or the kind of fast food which helps the consumers for better consumption, with quick and easy way of preparing food. It is mainly concerned with the ingredients used while production are not damaging the health consumers after the food consumption and the products used or the product are hygiene and are healthy to the consumers. B. Ethics in Food processing: The food processed should be healthy and should no create health related issues like obesity, etc and should be determined on the health of the consumer in particular. The Food Processing Industry is regulated by various laws concerning with the sanitation, licencing other necessary laws like the Prevention of food adulteration act,1954 for reducing the adulteration activities in processed food
