Case Analysis
Code of ethics is essential to the professional forensic psychologist especially when they emphasize the need for the psychologist to consider the code of ethics relating to their profession and the client’s interest above all else by completing their task in integrity and respect. Also, the first meeting to the last process of therapy must be completed with professionalism and integrity. Forensic Psychologist is guided by codes and rules which predict their outcomes and their requirements, reference psychologist, have field guidelines which are accessible to each psychologist.

According to this code of ethics, “A psychologist refrains from entering into a multiple relationship if the multiple relationships could reasonably be expected to impair the psychologist's objectivity, competence, or effectiveness in performing his or her functions as a psychologist, or otherwise risks exploitation or harm to the person with whom the professional relationship exists.” (APA, 2002). For instance, the scenario given in this assignment places the psychologist in another role with the client. The code of ethics, however, conditions that the multiple relationships which are not anticipated are unethical and could result in a risk. The scenario highlights the circumstances, and as a friend of the psychologist, some recommendations would be
