Bowen was justified in rejecting the code of chivalry because of the fact that Inan betrayed his code too. Inan became arrogant due to the fact that he knew he was immortal in some way. Bowen had previously taught Inan to stay loyal, trustworthy, and all the other aspects of chivalry but after being crowned king, he betrayed those rules. So instead, Bowen decided to leave the side of Inan because of the acts Inan had previously committed. Then afterwards, Bowen had made the conclusion that it was the dragon who created the arrogance and the corrupted mindset of Inan. For a number of years, Bowen became a dragonslayer in attempt to find the dragon that he thought corrupted Inan. Instead Bowen met a dragon Draco who was supposedly the last …show more content…
This resulted in the contemplation of Draco’s death, but Draco approved of this thought and then accepted his fate. Bowen did what he was told to do by Draco and ended the lives of both Draco and Inan. Draco had finally passed on to the stars along with all the other stars, along with the stars of past dragons. On the other hand, Inan has finally ended his rule over the kingdom.
Although, Bowen had only partially given the purpose of dragonslaying for Inan, he had also done this for the sake of winning or selling for gold. In other opinions, Bowen would be described as selfish many ways. One reason could’ve been because he had sold previous dragons for his own sake. Apart from that, Bowen had created alibis for himself and for the actions he admitted.
Apart from everything, Bowen and Kara have become amazing leaders after the death of the previous King Inan. While they rule, the two leaders taught the kingdom about brotherhood and justice. During their reign, their people began to become more honorable than they were used to during the reign of their past king. Their people also started to become more righteous in their normal
