The elements that would work well for a code of chivalry today are actually similar to those that worked in Medieval Europe and Medieval Japan. I think that the elements that would work for this code of chivalry would be loyalty, courage in battle, education, support of the arts, generosity, kindness, and mercy to those who are less fortunate. Loyalty is extremely important so that you know that you can trust a person with whom you can work with and know that they are not going to take advantage or do something against you behind your back.
