For many years the Cocoa Bean has driven the chocolate industry, allowing not only chocolate but other cocoa derived products to become very hot commodities around the world. This fruit is most commonly found in Western African countries, like Cote d'Ivoire, and Latin American countries where it is harvested all year round (Food Empowerment Project). As stated previously the chocolate isn’t the only thing produced from the Cocoa Bean, but Cocoa Butter, Cocoa Powder, Alcohol, and various Cocoa Extracts (“Products That Can Be Made From Chocolate”). Due to wide range of merchandise that is made from the Cocoa Bean, currently Americans spend around 16 million dollars on chocolate and Cocoa bean derived products per year (Vitello). Additionally,
