There has been increase in the rate of start-up failures in India. Start-up serves to provide more employment opportunities and improved performance for the economy. To succeed, a company needs more than a good idea. Its success is largely due to how the idea is executed and whether it addresses a real market need. A talented staff and management team will ensure that the right decisions are made along the way. Capital is also essential to make everything come together and push the venture ahead. Think Small ideas than big ones. The Ideas for business are smaller for the successful guys. By small it means practical and understandable. If you are not able to write about the business on a business card or explain to a ten year old then the author says that the business could be a big bad idea which is more likely to be a fail. Small ideas are simple and could be focused on a niche. When Kevin Systrom was building an app similar to Foursquare as to provide the customers with a search and discovery service mobile app with many alterations than Foursquare including photo identifier he noticed that one part of the app was different from various similar service provider apps and that the camera had a wider pull from the customers. It was then that he decided to concentrate on that part of his product for which there is market and customer demand. With little variations and changes he launched the photo app called Instagram to the customers and became instantly rich. The business you are willing to carry on must be simple enough to discuss as well as to ponder which would benefit the idea to grow to become a full fledged business
