I have seen many video across facebook and youtube that show the outcome of the patient hearing for the first time with this implant. The joy that you see on there face for hearing there own voice to hearing the loved ones talk. You will tear up. This will lead to my position on the matter if they are worth getting. With the research and watching these video I feel that it 's worth it all. I can’t imagine not being able to hear my baby cry for the first time or to have complications with understanding others. Though with I agree with getting it done I understand why the Deaf Community is against it. There is definitely nothing wrong with them and they don 't need to be fixed at all. I love how they are standing up as a community and loving themselves for who you are. Having a disabled brother I would not change a thing about him and even if there was an opportunity to do so I would not do it unless it benefited his health and life. Like the videos I have seen on youtube this young lady got the implants and heard both her mother and husband for the first time. He husband was nervous that she was not going to like the sound of her voice or like the Implant at all and would regret it. The opposite happened.
