Introduction

Chemical/Unhealthy ingredients and hence obesity is a big problem that people are facing nowadays. “Consumers are concerned about sugar; they are concerned about artificiality.” Mr. Quincey said during a Feb.19 presentation at the Consumer Analyst Group of New York meeting at the Boca Raton Resort and Club. Conscious and slightly wealthier people tend to consume foods/drinks which have more healthy ingredients and change their eating habits. Hence, the entire soda market is in decline trend. However, Coca-Cola company is in the attention because it is the leader of the sector.

The change management process, together with internal branding programs is expected to bring about ideal behaviors in employees, which would align the operations of Coca-Cola worldwide, and bring about efficiency throughout Coca-Cola across all its business segments. Coca-Cola hopes to bring about a thoroughly integrated system of communications, and focus on creating brand relationships with their employees. This would enhance the operations of Coca-Cola, as an integrated approach would mean all employees believe in engaging fully in the values, and this would become an inherent part of the employees at a personal level. Coca-Cola is actively seeking to incorporate the change into its company if the recent conference on internal branding and employee engagement held in February,2011 by Robin Gee, Head of Employee Engagement for Coca-Cola Refreshments (CCR) is any indication.
