Colca canyon. For a long time Colca Canyon was the deepest in the world until it was discovered that it is actually two different canyons. Now Colca Canyonn is said to be the worlds second largest canyon although some argue it is the third. It is twice as deep as the Grand Canyon. Giant condors live in the canyons with wing spans of up to 9 feet. For those who love to hike this is a destination worth visiting. I am really disappointed that I was unable to hike the canyon and felt that maybe if I had seen more of it I would have liked it more.

For those who are thinking about taking a day trip don't even both. First the day trip begins at 2:30 in the morning, which is an ungodly hour. Day trips to the canyon are a sham because they
