While CSI does operate at a high level, it is obvious this is dependent on the employment of Administrator, Director of Operations, and Director of Nursing, Nancy Steffora. Her numerous titles and roles require her to work on-call every day of the year. Nancy is the intermediary between the board and the operating core within CSI. Her diligence to daily tasks and her knowledge base help to facilitate all operations withing the surgery center. Without Nancy, the structure itself would suffer immensely, and as a result, every aspect of the business be at a stand-still. Along with Nancy 's expertise, what allows CSI to be successful and sets them apart from others surgical institutes is the dedication to the four themes: a focus on patient care, job satisfaction stemming from a strict adherence to established regulations, pride in employment, and clear and consistent communication. The Structural and Human Resource Frames work together seamlessly to guide systems and practices that serve the patient; in turn, doctors and employees are fulfilled and empowered. Politically, CSI is a political agent in its field to promote patient safety and care.
