I am interested in attending the Coast Guard academy because I want to become the best version of myself that I can be so that I can better serve my country and people that comprise it. I expect to get the education necessary to become a quality officer in the USCG while also making a positive impact in the lives of those at the Academy. They will be some of the hardest nights of my life, but there will also the most rewarding nights of my life. There will be days that I feel like quitting but I will keep going in the hope of times to come, and days that will make everything worth it. I expect to major in ORCA and to help solve some of the toughest problems in the Coast Guard. I will help my classmates through their lowest points and push
