When students were in elementary, they were use to walking over to the lunchroom and eating at their own pace. Now in middle school, they have to rush to the lunchroom and engulf their food in 25 minutes to get back to class on time. Many people are tired after gym or whatever classes that they were in and want to enjoy a meal and have a break from all the stressful craziness of their schedules. Coalgate middle school should have a longer lunch period. First of all, the longer break would be the right choice for the students. The longer break would enable the students to rest so they can be more productive during class. The students would be able to relax after running or weight lifting in athletics.
