Coaching
Before we get into this it’s important to note the differences of similar terms thrown around. What is the difference between consulting, counseling, coaching, and mentoring? Most people, particularly with mentoring and coaching, use some of these terms interchangeably but I think their are important differences to note.

Consulting takes a look at what someone’s doing, analyzes where their going wrong and tells them how to fix it and then walks out the door.

Counseling is a form of therapy or health care that provides psychological intervention that often deals with the past and present in trying to ‘fix’ people who have some kind of mental or emotional issue.

Counseling professions are highly regulated and often times in our culture

Coaches are experts in creating and focusing on an agenda, splitting it into manageable tasks and shifting perspectives requisite to instill the right attitude, behavior and skills needed to achieve. As a coach the task at hand is most important.

Mentors are an expert in something specific through experience and take on a pupil whom they teach and walk down that same path together. A good mentor not only knows the way, they show, walk, and guide people down it.

Unlike mentors, coaches have not necessarily been down the path they are directing others on, but they are sages on the principles and advice that apply to their client’s success. Many of the best football coaches never played professionally, if even at all, but they are every bit as ‘on the top of their game’.

While this Money Tree is titled Coaching, it means either mentoring and or coaching as they involve the same framework to set them up and run them with only different semantics in application. As said, most people don’t differentiate

Also some people will be better served by someone other than yourself in which case you can point them in the right direction.

Be mindful these are the high-level and high-end products that you will be creating and offering. You can do these on a one-on-one basis or as group sessions or some hybrid thereof. You can even record your group sessions using freeconferencecall.com and sell them as lower-level products as they lack the customization, personalization, and perhaps one or two hidden secrets you would otherwise give.

All this allots for a minuscule investment of time for the results achieved. As I mentioned earlier, coaches are not paid for the hours that they work, but for the knowledge and implementation they possess.

I strongly believe that hiring coaches and mentors is a key to creating more success in your life that pays 10 times more than the investment for their services. I invested in my business, even though I was broke and it lead me to where I am today. Aside from hiring coaches myself I also pay a monthly fee to be a part of the Strongbrook Mentoring

Coaches' goals are to help you uncover the answers from your own inner wisdom and experience. No reputable life coach will hand you a checklist to solve all your problems. Rather, a coach will dig deeper into your day-to-day patterns to help propel you beyond your obstacles. A coach will also help you identify what your goals really are instead of letting you "float" through life. Many adults are intimidated by the cost of a coach, but what's the cost of not hiring a coach?…

The same thing goes if that athlete success the coach is still a reason why the athlete succeeded. if you have a bad athlete with a good coach that coach can help a shape that bad athlete into a good athlete.…

Sport coaches have been among the most influential figures to athletes both on and off the playing field. They are known as a friend, mentor, and an inspiration to their athletes but can also be a big disappointment when their abusive behaviour comes out. “Some coaches, for instance, seem to be constantly exhorting their athletes in training and competition, often yelling and cajoling in an attempt to induce maximal performance”(Temertzoglou, 2000, pg.277). This type of coaching is a total turn off to the athletes and can affect them greatly in a negative way. Coaches are becoming more like bullies rather than mentors and friends, leading the athletes to switch teams, cheat to win games or quit the sports they love.…
